The Rome Museum houses a large variety of articles made by hand taking us back via numerous relationships to the history of the city from Medieval times up to the first half of the Nineteenth Century and bearing witness to the topographical changes and the different aspects of the cultural, social, historical and artistic life of the city. The collection ranges from the making of furniture, carriages and sedan chairs and other elements of architectonic and urban decoration from the mosaics and frescoes, saved from the demolitions of medieval ceramics. There are also wooden prints for materials made in 700 and 800 to be used for making the clothes and tapestries of the same period.
